The origin · Hướng Hoá, Quảng Trị · 650 m

Hướng Hoá is a land of hot Laotian winds and Liberica trees that grow taller than a person — trees the Bru–Vân Kiều people keep among their gardens as windbreaks for Arabica.

Fermented without oxygen, then dried whole, the cup turns herbal and sweet, like chamomile tea. Once sold off as a low-grade crop, this species is now back on international cupping tables.
